Building Hope Inc has been so good to me and my girls. When I was introduced to Building Hope Inc. I was at my wits end and ready to give up, but Building Hope Inc gave me that push and drive to get my life back on track for my family. I was so touched by the wonderful Christmas we had and all the blessings we received thus far. I just love my apartment and so thankful to have met the wonderful staff and members of Building Hope! I can not Thank God enough for putting Building Hope in my life at the right time...

I would like to say Building Hope Inc. has been a wonderful blessing to my family and I. On so many different occasions we have been blessed in abundance due to the works of Building Hope. There is never a moment when you can't call on them for help and I deeply appreciate everything from the bottom of my heart. When I was first introduced to Building Hope I was unemployed and had no place to take my family, but they helped me find employment and a place to call home. Now my family and I were blessed with the Washington Wizards Christmas and I am forever thankful for the members of Building Hope!! God Bless you in all you do. The Queen and Sneed Family

On this Sunday, May 22nd 2011, some of my family members experienced the most wonderful Gala on this side of Town. We can't speak enough about this event, but ask that many of you attend next year and expeience the warmth and caring shared thoughout the year. Thanks sooooo much Building Hope, don't know what we would have done without your support in our time of need. Just your words of encouragement and Godly direction gave us HOPE and continue to give us HOPE to continue working to change our lives. We Love You! :-)

Thank you so much, building hope for being there in my time of need. I was dealing with an abusive marriage, with four children and nowhere to go. Building Hope helped to place me in a home, helped with furnishing it, and was just an overall blessing to me and my family, giving us a brand new start. Without them I dont know where my family would be. God has really used this organization to bless many. Thank you so much for letting him work through you!

Working with Building Hope has enabled me to stay steadfast and focused on the things of God, as I wait on God to do somethings in my personal life. I truly thank God for this opportunity to help build hope in the life of someone else and to live a life of fulfillment knowing that it is not just about me. God says that if you be about what concerns Him, He will be about that that concerns you.

Never in A Million Years

"I would not have thought in a million years that I, a married professional woman with a home, successful career and four wonderful children, would one day be displaced from my home, separated from my husband and feeling the stress that comes with this transition. I give my heartfelt thanks to Building Hope for providing a safe haven for my four children and I while we transitioned to this new phase of our lives. Because of Building Hope, the children and I could temporarily settle in a fully furnished home instead of having to move between family and friends. The children and I have safely resettled into our home , but the experience has taught me the importance of knowing what resources are available and making sure that I continue to support Building Hope, so that it can continue to be a safe haven for other families as well. Thank you Coressa Williams and Building Hope for this wonderful resource."

Home Depot Business Partner

"As a Human Resource Manager for The Home Depot, I was asked to build partnerships within the communities that our store exist. During one of our volunteer projects, I was introduced to Coressa Williams and learned of her organization Building Hope, Inc. Building Hope helps individuals improve their personal circumstances by providing a home for distressed families. This is the first step to getting ones life back on track. The second step is securing employments. With an appreciation for the connection between these two steps, the relationship between Building Hope and The Home Depot was solidified. This partnership assists Building Hope's clients in achieving step two, and allows The Home Depot to secure hardworking, dedicated employees. Additionally, is has helped me to grasp the true meaning of community, which is our Common Unity!"
